Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Shillong (100 km / 3 hours)

  • Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station.
  • Transfer to Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, known as the "Scotland of the East."
  • En route, visit Umiam Lake, a picturesque water reservoir.
  • Check-in at the hotel in Shillong.
  • Evening at leisure to explore local markets.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.

 

Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunji (60 km / 2 hours)

  • After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.
  • Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Seven Sisters Falls.
  • Explore the unique living root bridges.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

 

Day 3: Cherrapunji – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong (180 km / 7 hours)

  • Early morning drive to Dawki, a town near the India-Bangladesh border.
  • Enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River.
  • Proceed to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village.
  • Explore the balancing rock and bamboo skywalk.
  • Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

 

Day 4: Shillong Sightseeing

  • Visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, and Don Bosco Museum.
